Mind + body connection
I enjoy teaching a variety of yoga styles such as slow flow and power yoga. I love to see yoga increase clients’ self-acceptance, patience, and connection to their mind and body.
Benefits of movement and the mind
Yoga has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma responses. If a client chooses and is physically fit, we may slowly include some yoga movements into sessions in order to make more connections between the physical and mental health.
